- The term "desktop" is used to refer to both internal and external
- modems. This is opposed to rack-mount which refers to, well, rack-mounted
- modems. FWIW the itnernal and external modems are identicle aside from
- the obvious differences. I'm not sure if the firmwares are completely
- interchangable (they won't be if USR includes PnP support with this
- firmware), but the code that actualy runs the modem is identicle.
